I made a small demo for an idea for a game I had tossing around in my head. It was to be about the first moon colony, consisting of scientists, celebrities, and civilians. You would play the role of one of the civilians, who won the opportunity to go to the moon in a lottery. I experimented with a new graphics style which worked quite well, but unfortunately got writers block shortly after starting, and never released what I had done. I still have the game on my hard disk, if anyone's interested, feel free to contact me and I'll send you a copy. | I made a small demo for an idea for a game I had tossing around in my head. My Projects
Although none are complete, I still try to remain active in all of my projects.
Escape Quest
My first attempt at an AGI Game in early 1998. It was to be a futuristic game where you wake up in a cell with no memory of how you got there or who you are. The story would evolve into a 'Stargate' type of theme(I thought of it first), where you would travel from world to world, solving puzzles and discovering your true identity.
AGI PianoMy little known test game, AGI Piano. Still learning the ropes of AGI, I wrote a little test game to help myself learn sound. I was so proud, I thought I would release it.
Logic WizardAfter thinking how I could make games easier and faster to create, I came up with the idea of the Logic Wizard. A one-page dialog, you would enter in common variables and strings used in the game to create a template for your logic. I had planned on continuing it to become a complete solution to creating games, but it quickly became superseded by Joel McCormick's(I think) similar program. After that I lost interest.
Moon Patrol DemoI made a small demo for an idea for a game I had tossing around in my head.
Pharaoh QuestAfter playing Sierra's game Pharaoh, I got interested in the Egyptian Theme. I decided to just muck around in AGI, to see what I could do. Before I knew it, I had a game going, and I still work on it to this day. Currently the game features many innovative new features not done before in AGI such as Scores up to 2000, a 'black' menu bar, over 255 screens, mini-games, 'real' money, health and water meters, and will feature much more when complete.
RenegadeMy most recent project is called Renegade. I'm working on this game with John Peel aka Parabola. Set in the Space Quest universe, it follows the story of a captain and his crew shortly after the Genetix 'incident' in Space Quest 5. The graphics are of sierra quality, if not better, and it will feature more innovative features including multiple character use, like in Maniac Mansion. I cant really say much more about it at this stage, as we really want to surprise everyone with this one.
