Description

Escape Quest uses interpreter version 2.917.

Rainer De Temple wrote: My first attempt at an AGI Game in early 1998. It was to be a futuristic game where you wake up in a cell with no memory of how you got there or who you are. The story would evolve into a 'Stargate' type of theme (I thought of it first), where you would travel from world to world, solving puzzles and discovering your true identity.

Story

You find yourself in a cell in an alien world, and worst of all, you can't remember who you are! Now, you must escape and find out who you are. What mysteries will you discover along the way? Is there a greater threat than the plot against yourself that you will discover, and ultimately conquer? Find out!

About

This game is interesting enough to keep you playing. The graphics are decent although they could use a bit of improvement. The technical aspects are pretty good. It understands most of what you type in, although it could use a little more. Commands dealing with the vending machine, as well as the door panel are examples. This game keeps the north-south-east-west orientation intact which is excellent. I haven't heard much about this game, but I assume it is still being worked on. I hope so, since it showed a good bit of promise.
